Work Experience

I am a dedicated microbiologist and bioinformatics specialist with experience spanning multiple roles and projects across academia and industry. At Amferia, I updated and automated genome and proteome study pipelines to analyze antimicrobial resistance, significantly improving research efficiency. During my time at the University of Essex, I led research on extremophiles and hypersaline microbial life, conducting whole genome sequencing and proteome analysis, while also managing data and mentoring students. As a Project Manager Team Lead at Padmasiddha Healthcare, I spearheaded research on antimicrobial resistance in fungi, developing a pioneering computational model to predict resistance mechanisms, reducing clinical assessment time by tenfold. My freelance work as a Bioinformatician for GSBTM involved identifying virulence genes in Archaea using advanced bioinformatics tools. Additionally, I have a strong background in education, mentoring aspiring doctors for the NEET exam, and have contributed to environmental microbiology projects focused on heavy metal-degrading microbes during my internships. My expertise spans bioinformatics, molecular microbiology, project management, and antimicrobial resistance research, and I am passionate about driving innovation in these fields.
